The Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP), the MVA Hong Kong consultancy, City University of Hong Kong and Civic Exchange published a report proposing to revitalise the Central district and convert Des Voeux Road Central, between Pedder Street and Morrison Street, into a green “tram and pedestrian precinct”. The report is a practical proposal which could significantly impact both the image and the poor roadside air quality in Hong Kong’s Central Business District.

Civic Exchange, the Hong Kong Institute of Planners, City University of Hong Kong and the MVA consultancy published a practical proposal to revitalize the Central district by turning a segment of Des Voeux Road into a green space reserved for trams and pedestrians.
