In April 2014, Civic Exchange published a proposal on tram and pedestrian precinct at Des Voeux Road Central. To download the summary report, click on the link above.
The Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP), together with MVA Hong Kong Limited, City University of Hong Kong and Civic Exchange published a report proposing to revitalise Central and convert Des Voeux Road Central, between Pedder Street and Morrison Street, into a green “tram and pedestrian precinct”. The report is a practical proposal which would significantly change the image of Central and address the poor air quality in Hong Kong’s Central Business District.
