CLSA Publication: Politics in High Gear

By
2 December 2002
It is hard enough for the HKSAR government to learn how to govern on the job. It is equally hard for the people of Hong Kong who feel they are entitled to something better. However, as politics is becoming a more serious
business, it is to be expected that Hong Kong people in general will take it more seriously. Business and professional folk are likely to be more willing to consider going into politics or at least back people whom they think represent their views and interests to stand for election or lobby for them to be appointed as ministers.
