Cleaner Vehicles & Fuels: The Way Forward

Air quality in Hong Kong has deteriorated significantly. Road based vehicles are the primary cause of street level
pollution, producing smoke, particulates and chemicals in quantities that regularly exceed health standards. In order to help achieve acceptable air quality and reduce road transport related pollution, Hong Kong needs to design an effective, overarching and long-term strategy for introducing cleaner fuels and vehicles.
